More Great Links...

Tasmania's capital, Hobart, from the peak of Mt Wellington
I've said it before, and I'll say it again now, I've always thought the best thing about this blog are the links. I hope you use them more often than you read the things I ramble on about. From the outset, I wanted this blog to act as a hub for Okinawan martial culture, a place to visit if you wanted to get information about Okinawan karate and kobudo, or a feel for the culture of Ryukyu.

From time to time I have removed certain links that either stopped working or stopped being appropriate to visitors gaining access to good information. I'm aware there is a level of commercialism attached to certain links, but I'm also aware that many people don't share my views on commercialism in karate; the links are there because I'm not trying to convert anyone to my way of thinking.

I've just added a few more links that I think improve the view of Okinawa and it's culture, both martial and otherwise. I don't endorse everyone or everything you find in the links, that's not the point, I may not like some the people and the things you find, but you might! That said, there are karate and kobudoka linked here who are, I believe, among the best you'll come across anywhere in the world: and they are by no means all Okinawan either.

There are a number of other links I would like to include, but the folks involved would prefer I didn' that's the way it is. If you are linked here and would prefer not to be, it only takes an email and I'll make the necessary changes very quickly. As I come across more web sites and blogs that I think are helpful, I'll include them too when possible.

If you're wondering what the photo has to do with anything...keep wondering!
